Abortion
As a Catholic, I believed as the church did that abortion was the taking of a life. I also believed that a woman should have as many children as possible. That was my personal belief as a Catholic. I am not sure of the official position of the Catholic Church on this issue. I thought the more Catholics the better. My mother was not Catholic. She was Protestant. She believed in abortion, but not late term abortion. When I told her about partial birth abortion, she said, "They shouldn't allow that."
Having a lot of children IS what the Catholic Church wants its members to do. I remember reading in my grammar school textbook that Catholic families in the country have more children than those in the city. So the Church urges its members to move from the city to the country and have large families.
When I was in Armstrong's religion, we believed in the same thing regarding abortion. In Jeremiah 1:5, God says, "Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you..." Which means that God regards us as persons from the time of conception. Unlike the Catholic Church, Armstrong's church believe in birth control, but only the birth control that didn't destroy the fertilized egg in the womb. They said God Himself is practicing birth control by limiting the number of members of His Kingdom.
I was a member of the pro-life Democrats for Life organization. But when I asked for their endorsement when I ran for president in 2008, I was told that they were going to endorse Hillary Clinton because she is a Democrat, which is utterly hypocritical. So they are actually Democrats No Matter What. They should call themselves "Democrats for Life and Death."
I supported Life Dynamics of Denton, Texas, until I retired. It was founded and is headed by Mark Crutcher. His slogan is: NO COMPROMISE. He believes as I do that life begins at conception. There is no reason for a woman to get an abortion. He holds the same view on the death penalty. He does not believe in the death penalty. But I do. In Romans 13, Paul talks about the higher powers and our rulers. In verse 4, it says, "But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he bears not the sword in vain." The only thing about the death penalty that keeps us from handing out numerous death sentences is that there must be at least two witnesses to a murder. It's hard to find two witnesses to a murder in our modern society. There are so many sneaky, very fast and very easy ways to kill a person nowadays. But we have fingerprints, We have cameras. And many times, we have irrefutable scientific and circumstantial evidence that we can use to convict a person of murder. Should these be used in place of two or more witnesses that the Bible requires?
The irony of our modern times is that we spend millions of dollars to support the deaths of innocent unborn babies; while at the same time, we spend millions of dollars to protect the worthless lives of guilty convicted murderers.
There were 39 executions carried out in the U.S. in 2013. There were at least 1 million abortions performed in 2013.
As for the churches and abortion, Mark Crutcher is very disappointed in our modern Christian churches. He says that if only 15% of the churches actively opposed abortion, it would disappear from the American scene completely.
I mentioned that Mark Crutcher says there are no reasons for a woman to get an abortion. That includes rape. Mark featured some rape victims on his Life Talk show who became pregnant and carried their child to term. He also interviewed children who were the product of rape. These children were happy that their mothers did not choose to abort them. This is a very controversial subject. When I was working in the office, one woman said if she were raped and got pregnant, she would have that thing out in a minute. Another woman said about the same thing, She said, "Bye, bye, baby." I said, "Why? What did he do?" She couldn't answer that. I said to her. "You said 'baby'. A baby is a human child." It was quitting time for me. She said, "Good night, Michael."
The Bible doesn't answer that too well either. There's no commandment that says, "Thou shalt not have an abortion." You can't find the word "abortion" in the Bible.
July 22, 2015 Wednesday. FOX News has been running a series of reports on Planned Parenthood coming under fire for selling abortion baby parts, which is illegal. They show a member of Planned Parenthood negotiating the kind body parts that are desired and the payment that is expected for these body parts. Not only is this illegal, many viewers find this disgusting that they could be so calloused about talking this matter over a dinner table in a restaurant.
It reminds me of the chicken market that I use to go to with my mother when I was a little boy. There was a little chicken market on Bailey near Broadway in Buffalo. There would be chickens in crates or cages. My mother would tell the butcher which chicken she wanted. She would say, “Leave the feet on!“ because she liked to eat the feet. The butcher would take the chicken out of the cage. He would quickly tie a rubber band around its feet. The chicken would be squawking in terror and flapping its wings. Then the butcher would set it on the scale to weigh it. The chicken sat there quietly. Then the butcher took the chicken off the scale and the chicken would be squawking and flapping its wings again. He went into the back room where there was a motor sound and grinding and painful chicken noises as it was being de feathered. Then there were three chopping noises; and there was quiet once more. The butcher brought our chicken dinner out and wrapped it in newspaper. My mother paid for the chicken and took it home, prepared it, and we had it for Sunday dinner.
The selling of baby parts is nothing more than a business transaction to Planned Parenthood just like the butcher killing and selling a chicken to my mother. What I find strange is that anyone would be shocked or disgusted with the idea of selling baby parts after the baby was killed in the wound. It’s perfectly legal to abort an unborn baby in the womb. But according to law, the baby body must be disposed of in a grave or a medical waste can. It cannot be sold for parts like a auto junk yard dealers selling auto parts from his junk yard. It’s easy for me to understand Planned Parenthood’s position. Once you’ve crossed the line and broken God’s law in killing an unborn baby, what’s the big deal about selling the baby parts to the medical industry. Planned Parenthood has a really good case to present to the pregnant women who come to them for an abortion--that the baby parts will be used for a good cause.
This line of business Planned Parenthood has been engaging in totally demolishes their claim that an unborn human baby is merely a clump of tissues. They are carefully preserving the heads and the brains and the eyes and the hearts and the livers and whatever so that they are in A-1 condition when they reach the customer.
Planned Parenthood is a hypocritical organization started by its hypocritical founder Margaret Sanger. She thought families should be limited to six children, yet she was the seventh child born into her family. Planned Parenthood says abortion is part of women's rights, yet more than half of abortions result in the killing of girl babies. Apparently, Planned Parenthood does not believe in a woman's right to be born. Planned Parenthood is the nation's largest provider of abortions. They work to promote abortions while at the same time they do what they can to discourage adoptions.

Abortion In The News
September 18, 2015 Friday. From what I'm hearing, Planned Parenthood is under fire for selling baby parts from babies who were already born. This is not just "murder" as pro-lifers would tell you, this is actually legal murder. These babies who were born are (or were) United States citizens who had full protection under the law according to the Fourteenth Amendment of the Constitution.
March 28, 2016 Monday. “Can a Christian vote for Donald Trump?” That was the question being asked for the past few weeks. Nobody asks if a Christian can vote for Hillary Clinton, who is the biggest supporter of abortion, and of Planned Parenthood, the largest provider of abortions. Nobody asked that question when Bill Clinton was running for president. He vetoed three times the bill to ban partial birth abortions, which is the most gruesome abortion procedure in the world.
In this month’s (March 2016) edition of Life Talk DVD, Destiny Herndon-DeLaRosa remarked that she, as a pro-life advocate, could not vote for Donald Trump because he owns strip clubs with massagers, and he was on the cover of Playboy Magazine back in the 1990s; he is not pro-woman; and he will always be pro-choice. That’s a long list of reasons not to vote for somebody. A Christian voter would have to hope that Donald Trump is a lot like the Apostle Paul. Paul was the greatest persecutor of the Christian church at the beginning of its history.
Does Donald Trump own massage parlors? I usually believe what Life Dynamics says, but I cannot verify this claim on the Internet. It’s hard to find Mr. Perfect or Mr. Right Guy to vote for. It’s even hard to find a past president that we could vote for now. George Washington owned slaves. You sort of have to ignore some serious faults and go with what really counts. Does Donald Trump love America? He says he wants to make America great again. How can he say he wants to make America great again if he doesn’t love America? He said for his Supreme Court nominees, he would select all pro-life candidates for the bench. Isn’t that what Destiny Herndon-DeLaRosa of Life Dynamics wants from her next president?
December 20, 2016 Tuesday. One pro-abortion feminist wrote that an unborn baby is not a person because it does not have any official government papers that says it is a person. That’s what personhood is to this pro abortionist. What is ironic is that a corporation is regarded as a legal person according to state law. So an unborn baby is not a person because it doesn’t have any paperwork. Yet, a non-person, non-existent individual corporation is a person because it has all the paperwork. I’m not sure if God would laugh or cry over this.
Donald Trump used to be pro abortion, but now he is pro life. Is this merely politics? He was a Democrat but now he is a Republican. Is it just that simple? Perhaps he was driving a Ford, but now he driving a Chevrolet. Is it that trivial? Can a person be pro abortion and then pro life, and even flip flop to being pro abortion, and maybe change his mind to become pro life again? I think not. Being pro life is being in harmony with God’s laws, while being pro abortion is turning away from God, and is going against God’s laws. It is also going against the laws of science; and more and more people are realizing that abortion is the taking of a human life. A heart beat is known to exist in unborn babies only 3 weeks after conception. The ultrasonic scanner is showing us how human a little fetus really is.
It is my opinion that a person who is pro life and then decides to become pro abortion is close to committing the unpardonable sin. It also says in James 1:8, “A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.”
March 26, 2017 Sunday. The Broken Record Response - Two weeks ago on Tucker Carlson’s Show on Fox News TV, he was interviewing one of the lady officers of Planned Parenthood. He questions her about the sonic scans that shows how human and alive an unborn baby is in the mother’s womb. He wanted to know what she thought about that. Here reply was the classic “broken record response.” Broken records were common in the old days of vinyl records that were played by a needle a laser beam. The needle would go over a faulty groove and would just keep playing the same groove over and over again. That is what the officer from Planned Parenthood sounded like. She was repeated her answer over and over again. She refused to answer Tucker Carlson’s question about what she thought about a living unborn human being. She merely said that a woman has the right to choose a abortion. And she said that over and over.
Planned Parenthood cannot admit to the fact that an unborn baby is a living human being. They must remain committed to a policy of a woman’s choice to have an abortion, otherwise, they will lose a lot of money.
June 24, 2022, Friday. Today marks a historical event with the Supreme Court ruling that overturned its Roe vs Wade decision of almost 50 years ago. The liberal Main Stream Media and the Far Left Democratic Party are calling this "devastating," and a loss of reproductive rights, as well as a loss of Women's equality. Here are my thoughts on that:
* To start with, Roe vs. Wade is a total lie. Mark Crutcher of Life Dynamics had Jane Roe in his studio to expose the lie that she had been raped. She was not raped. She became pregnant for the third time in her life. The outrage from the Far Left pro-abortion people is unreal and even untrue. One commentator said that the decision was a devastation to all Americans. Hardly. There are many Christians, Republicans, and conservatives who are joyous over the decision.
* Nancy Pelosi said it takes democracy in America backward several years. This decision has nothing to do with democracy. It is setting right what went wrong in 1973 -- the Supreme Court has no say on whether abortion is a right or not. It belongs to the individual states.
* In 2019, Nancy Pelosi said that the vicious MS-13 members were children of God. So in our modern society, according to Nancy Pelosi, it's okay to destroy the weak and innocent while saving the brutal and damnable.
June 28, 2022 Tuesday. There is a scripture in the Bible that fits Nancy Pelosi: "Woe unto those who call evil good and good evil; who put darkness for light and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter." (Isaiah 5:20)
* Constitutional right to abortion? Our Founding Fathers wrote the Declaration of Independence which says that God gave us inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Would they then write in the Constitution that God gave women the right to abortion?
* Joe Biden says he going to do all he can to restore the abortion rights that were lost in the June 24th decision. At the same time, he is bringing in all these Muslim people from the Middle East who treat women as slaves, and who make their women bear at least three children. The Muslims have an agenda to take over the United States and turn it into an Islamic republic. If and when that happens, women will have as many rights as a dog or a cow.
* July 9, 2022 Saturday. I am dismayed about polls that show over 60% of Americans are opposed to the repeal of Roe vs. Wade. I would blame Planned Parenthood on that. Their agenda has been to "educate" the people into accepting abortion as merely a medical procedure. And not just a medical procedure, but as a sacred right.
